Finished book talks for all classes but B block. HW: Be ready for freshman writing prompt tomorrow about a person you have encountered who has inspired you. You can bring notes in preparation for the prompt, but you will only have one period to complete it. You need a lead, specific examples, and a beginning, middle and end. The high school teachers will be grading it to see how well you write. The prompt is attached here. B Block only: If you still have not presented your book talk, be ready for Monday.

Last day to work on papers in lab. See previous posts for rubric and handouts about introductions and conclusions. These are due at the beginning of the period. Don't ask to print then. HW: All classes except D: Literary analysis papers due Wednesday. Turn in novels so you are not charged for it. You need to turn in the same novel that was assigned to you. Also, bring in the book you are using for upcoming book talk. Note: D block has until Thursday for the essays because you missed 4 classes.
